UKtools implement strict security measures to protect from fraud, misuse, alteration and loss of information under our control. Security measures are constantly reviewed, enabling a high standard of data protection both online and offline.

Thawte Security Note for users of Internet Explorer 7 (IE7)
Problem:
Invalid warning displaying security certificate errors.
Cause:
This is caused by a bug in IE7, whereby IE7 sees the seal image as being referenced from a unsecure location
Resolution:
Updating the IE 7 to version 7.0.5730.11 or latest version resolves this error.


Credit Cards  
We do not store financial information like credit card numbers. All Credit Card payments are handled with the highest level of security by our payment service provider, supported by the major UK banks. When completing your order with UKtools you are forwarded to our service provider for your Credit/Debit Details, they then only pass the Authorisation and payment to UKtools and we have no visibility of your credit card details. This enables the highest possible security of your credit card details.

Transmission of personal data
All personal information you provide is transmitted by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you provide to us for creating an account and purchasing of our products or services.
